What causes this issue?

Depreciation areas &V1& and &V3& are the real depreciation areas on
which a derived depreciation area is based. Different fiscal year
variants were entered for these two depreciation areas. Depreciation
area &V1& has fiscal year variant &V2& but depreciation area &V3& is
assigned to fiscal year variant &V4&.
The areas on which a derived depreciation area is based all have to
have the same fiscal year variant.

How to fix this error?

Correct the settings for the fiscal year variant for depreciation areas
&V1& and &V3&.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
