What causes this issue?

There is an inconsistency in transfer variant &V1& (relationship type
&V2& for chart of depreciation &V3&).
No transfer variant has been defined for the cross-system depreciation
area assigned to area &V4&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Define a transfer variant for the cross-system depreciation area, or
enter a generally valid transfer variant (cross-system depreciation
area '*').
