What causes this issue?

You are using the the acquisition costs or replacement value as the
base value in your calculation key. You should provide for an
appropriate end treatment for these base values after the end of the
planned useful life, so that you can depreciate below zero, for
example. When you use these base values, it is possible for an amount
to remain after the expiration of the planned useful life, due to
rounding or post-capitalization. Such an amount is not depreciated
unless you specify an end treatment.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Select 'Depreciate after planned life end' or enter a changeover method
and a changeover key.
