What causes this issue?

The system found inconsistencies in the structure of the FI document
line items. Line item schema &V1& does not provide reliable results in
relation to posting to the general ledger.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check line item schema &V1& for this posting transaction. There are two
possible causes for the error:
A value field was updated on the asset, and this value field is updated
to a reconciliation account in FI (for example, an asset balance sheet
account, accumulated depreciation or down payments), but there is no
line item defined for this value field in the line item schema.
The error message can also be caused by incorrect account allocation.
In order to find out if you have incorrect account allocations in the
account determination for Asset Accounting, carry out a consistency
check of the accounts. The consistency check is part of FI-AA
Customizing.
