  • What causes this issue?

    You have entered a value greater than 1 in the field for the number of
    jobs to be started.
    No actual (update) settlement with interval restrictions (selection via
    document numbers, recipient, company code) is allowed for this setting.
    Reason: the postprocessing run has to be started automatically as the
    last activity during document selection (locking of processed
    documents).
    This cannot be coordinated for job splits (external jobs).

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Delete the interval entry (and thus settlement across all documents in
    the queue) or enter the value 1 in the field donating the number of jobs
    to be started (no job split).
