Check to see if one of the reasons listed below does not allow you to
save percentages of completion. Be sure to use the proper PS info
profile.
You will not be able to save the percentage of completion for the
following reasons:
Invalid structure view
The percentages of completion are saved as aggregate values (summarized
using a hierarchy). To do this, use the project view work breakdown
structure.
Incomplete selection: Selection criteria
Either enter a project definition or a WBS element including the
hierarchy and without superior objects as selection conditions. You
cannot make additional restrictions such as dynamic selections.
Incomplete selection: Object types
You must select the following object types to ensure the complete
calculation of percentage of completion:
WBS elements
Networks
Activities
Orders
Milestones
Incomplete selection: Selected structure levels
Select a level of detail for the hierarchy:
Level of WBS elements: 1-99 (on initial screen)
Maximum level 99 (in database profile)
Incomplete selection: Expenses/Finances
In the database profile set the indicator expenses/finances.
Incomplete selection: Authorizations
You can only save percentages of completion if you have the a
authorization for display (including costs and dates) for all objects
in the structure.
Subprojects not yet available
In this release the functionality for saving percentages of completion
of subprojects is not yet available.
