Message text: &1 remains available outside lease-in period as it is already rented
You have assigned object &V1&, which is currently in your own portfolio
for the complete period, to a tenant rental agreement for the first
time. Usually the system sets the status of the object for the period
before and after the tenant rental to "not available" (including the
subobjects; this generally makes the higher-level objects only
partially available). However, this was not possible since object &V2&
is rented through rental agreement &V3&. The rental period and the "not
available" period (&V4&) would overlap.
The system leaves the status of the object in the period outside the
tenant rental as "In own portfolio".
Check whether object &V1& is really available outside the tenant rental
period. Extend the tenant rental agreement or terminate the rental
agreement as required.

- &1 remains available outside lease-in period as it is already rented ?The SAP error message "6D798 &1 remains available outside lease-in period as it is already rented" typically occurs in the context of asset management, particularly when dealing with leased assets in SAP's Asset Accounting (FI-AA) module. This error indicates that the asset in question is currently rented out and cannot be processed for certain transactions outside of its designated lease-in period.
Cause:
- Lease-in Period: The asset is currently in a lease-in period, and the system is trying to perform an operation that is not allowed outside of this period.
- Asset Status: The asset may have a status that restricts certain transactions, such as being marked as "rented" or "leased."
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the asset management module that are not aligned with the intended use of the asset.
Solution:
- Check Lease-in Period: Verify the lease-in period for the asset. Ensure that any transactions you are trying to perform are within the allowed time frame.
- Review Asset Status: Check the status of the asset in the system. If it is marked as rented, you may need to change its status or wait until the lease-in period is over.
- Transaction Type: Ensure that the transaction you are trying to execute is appropriate for the asset's current status. Some transactions may not be allowed if the asset is currently rented.
- Configuration Review: If the issue persists, review the configuration settings in the Asset Accounting module to ensure they are set up correctly for the asset type and its intended use.
