  • What causes this issue?

    As set in Customizing, the rental agreement number is automatically
    determined by the business entity number, the building/property number
    and the rental unit number. Since the rental agreement number consists
    of 13 characters, at least 2 of which are needed for a sequence number,
    this is only possible if the 3 number ranges consist of maximum 11
    characters in total (maximum 8 or 9 if a separator is defined).
    Currently the business entity number consists of maximum &V1&
    characters, the building/property number of maximum &V2& characters and
    the rental unit number of maximum &V3& characters, which, with the
    defined separators, make up a total of &V4& characters.

    System Response

    The system cannot automatically calculate the rental agreement number.

    How to fix this error?

    Contact your system administrator.

    You can set Customizing in one of three ways:
    Reduce the number ranges of the objects business entity, property,
    building and rental unit in Customizing as required.
    Set the parameter "Automatically calculate rental agreement number" to
    "No".
    Delete the separator.
