  • Message text: ZK01 notification with same Zusy-ID &2 already exists

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

A ZK01 notification with the same identification number (Zusy ID)
already exists in the system for the personnel number.
A ZK01 request should be uniquely identified by the Zusy-ID. In some
cases, however, it is posible that requests with the same Zusy-ID are
repeatedly sent or one Zusy-ID is used for different requests.

    System Response

If multiple ZK01 notifications with the same Zusy ID are assigned to one
person, the report program <DS:RE.RPCZFAD0_KZ01>Creation of ZfA
Notifications KZ01</> (RPCZFAD0_KZ01) responds to the notifications in
the order in which they were created.
Since multiple notifications with the same Zusy ID cannot be answered in
a single program run of the program <LS>RPCZFAD0_KZ01</>, several
program runs are required in which the outstanding notifications are
    answered one after the other.

This can happen in various scenarios, such as when trying to create a new notification for an issue that has already been logged.

    Cause:

    1. Duplicate Notification: The most common cause is that a notification with the same Zusy-ID has already been created in the system.

You can do this by using transaction codes like IW21 (Create Notification) or IW22 (Change Notification) and searching for the specific Zusy-ID.

    2. Use a Unique Zusy-ID: If you need to create a new notification, ensure that you are using a unique Zusy-ID that does not conflict with existing entries.

    3. Modify Existing Notification: If the notification already exists and you need to update it, consider modifying the existing notification instead of creating a new one.

    4. Consult Documentation: Review any relevant documentation or guidelines for creating notifications in your organization to ensure compliance with naming conventions and ID usage.
