that you are using from the current budget type group. Therefore, the
system does not know whether this is a monetary budget or a quantity
budget.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

In customizing, enter the appropriate budget type group and budget type
indicator for the budget type. If the budget is a monetary budget,
select the attribute <LS>monetary budget</>, if the budget is a
quantity budget, you must specify a budget type group unit (attribute
<LS>budget type group unit</>).
Contact your system administrator, so that he/she can make the entries.
