  • What causes this issue?

    The field 'time unit' could not be converted for the infotype record
    specified. This is probably because the time unit used does not exist
    in the new system.

    System Response

    Everything except for the field 'time unit' was converted in the
    infotype record. This field was set to its initial value.

    How to fix this error?

    The upgrade can continue without any further problems.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    The error does not have an adverse effect on the productive system.
    Once you have upgraded infotype 1005 (Planned Compensation) and before
    you use it, you should enter the time unit for the infotype record
    specified in the error log manually. To do this, use the transaction
    PP01. The following values are allowed:
    1 monthly
    2 semi-monthly
    3 weekly
    4 every two weeks
    5 every four weeks
    6 annually
    7 quarterly
    8 hourly
    9 daily
    A half-yearly
