  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The RFC connection between the graphical layout editor on the frontend
and the Screen Painter transaction on the application server was
interrupted. This may be because your application session crashed or
due to an error in the RFC communication software.
    RFC-Kommunikations-Software.

    System Response

Communication between the two processes cannot be restored. The
graphical layout editor process has therefore been terminated.

    How to fix this error?

This is a warning message. All changes to the screen since you last
saved have been lost. As long as the disruption to the RFC connection
was only temporary, a new process will be started when you next start
the graphical layout editor, enabling you to work on the screen again.
The screen will appear in the state it had when you last saved it.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
