What causes this issue?

When you select <ZH>Tabs</>, the characteristics are summarized onto
the tabstrip automatically. You do not have to set the <ZH>Summarize</>
indicator.
Once you select <ZH>Tabs</>, the characteristics are no longer
displayed on the general value assignment screen.
