  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to create a BOM by copying an existing BOM (reference).
As the base unit of measure of the reference BOM is different from the
base unit of measure of the material for which the new BOM is to be
created, it cannot be copied into the new BOM. For this reason, the
default base unit of measure for the new BOM is that of the material
for which the BOM is being created.
The base unit of measure of a BOM must be the same as for the material
    is represents.

    How to fix this error?

    You have two options:
Press ENTER. You see the reference BOM.
Select the item you want to copy and choose function <ZH>Copy</>. Now
the BOM header and all selected items are copied. Only the base unit of
measure is reset for the BOM.
If you decide as a result of this warning that you do not want to use
this reference BOM, choose function <ZH>New entry</>.
Correct your entry or cancel the transaction <ZH>Copy from...</>.
