    values for your company (in the customizing functions for 'BOMs' and
    perform steps <LS>Define modification parameters</> and <LS>Define
    default settings</>.
    The modification parameters are generally one-time settings for BOM
    management, which you should not normally change once you start using
    the functions for BOMs.
