The SAP error message 1H165 indicates that the selected stacks (which could refer to software components, transport requests, or other system elements) do not have the appropriate status for the operation you are trying to perform. This error typically arises in the context of system upgrades, software installations, or transport management.

    Cause:

    1. Incorrect Status: The selected stacks may be in a status that does not allow the operation you are attempting. For example, they might be in a "locked" state or not yet released for use.
    2. Dependency Issues: There may be dependencies between different components or stacks that are not satisfied, leading to an invalid status.

    Solution:

    1. Check Status: Verify the status of the selected stacks. You can do this through transaction codes like SE01 (Transport Organizer) or SE09 (Transport Requests) to see if the requests are released or in a valid state.
    2. Release Transport Requests: If you are dealing with transport requests, ensure that they are released. You can release them in SE01 or SE09.
    3. Review Dependencies: Check for any dependencies that might be causing the issue. Ensure that all required components are in the correct status.
    4. System Logs: Review system logs for any additional error messages or warnings that might provide more context about the issue.
    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific components or stacks you are working with for any known issues or additional troubleshooting steps.
