Message text: No number could be determined after creation of the interval table
A new interval table has just been set up. However, the system still
cannot determine an entry for application &v1& on the application
server &v2& with work process &v3&.
The return code of the sub-program is &v4&.
Return code 1 means that the current work process is a batch process,
but that the entry in the interval table is intended for an online
process, or vice versa. This error should not occur here.
Return code 2 means that an invalid <DS:DE.BKK_PAR_PMODE>method</> was
set for number assignment. Check your Customizing for this.
The system determines a random number; the required optimization does
not take place.
If there is no Customizing error, this probably involves an error in
the application.
Contact SAP and provide details or the error class and number.
For more detailed information on the context, refer to the
<DS:TX.BKK_PAR_POSTING_ITEMS>documentation</> on the subject of "BCA
Performance When Posting Payment Items".

- No number could be determined after creation of the interval table ?The SAP error message 1B403 ("No number could be determined after creation of the interval table") typically occurs in the context of number range management, particularly when the system is unable to assign a number from a defined number range interval. This can happen during various processes, such as creating documents, orders, or other entities that require unique identifiers.
Causes:
- Number Range Interval Not Defined: The number range interval for the object you are trying to create may not be defined or may not be active.
- Number Range Exhaustion: The number range may have been exhausted, meaning that all available numbers in the range have been used up.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to access or use the number range.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration issues in the number range settings, such as incorrect intervals or missing entries.
- System Errors: There could be temporary system issues or inconsistencies in the database.
Solutions:
Check Number Range Configuration:
- Go to transaction SNRO (Number Range Objects) and check the configuration for the relevant number range object.
- Ensure that the number range intervals are correctly defined and active.
Check Number Range Status:
- In the same transaction, check if the number range has been exhausted. If it has, you may need to extend the number range or create a new interval.
- You can do this by selecting the number range object and reviewing the intervals.
Review Authorizations:
- Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to create entries using the number range. This can be checked in transaction SU01 (User Maintenance).
Check for System Errors:
- If the issue persists, check for any system errors or inconsistencies. You may need to consult with your SAP Basis team to investigate any underlying issues.
Recreate Number Range:
- If the number range is corrupted or misconfigured, you may need to delete and recreate it. Be cautious with this approach, as it can have implications on existing data.
Consult SAP Notes:
- Check the SAP Support Portal for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error message or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
