The date of manufacture is after the current date.
Depending on the system settings, this message is output as a warning or
as an error message.
If it is a warning (type 'W'): the system allows you to enter a
manufacture date in the future but draws your attention to this to
prevent you making an unintentional entry. If you confirm the warning,
the system assigns the manufacture date to the batch.
If it is an error message (type 'E'): you are not allowed to enter a
date in the future. To continue, you have to correct the entry.
A system administrator with the appropriate authorization can configure
the message type in Customizing for Batch Management under:
