Was verursacht dieses Problem?

The new created assignment of either a class to class assignment or an
object to class assignment would cause inconsistencies in dependent
objects such generic articles and variants.
The following cases describe how such inconsistencies could occur:
<ZH>Case 1</>: You are trying to assign either a generic article or a
variant to a class using standard classification transactions.
<ZH>Case 2</>: You are trying to assign a class to a superior class and
you are using a variant creating class type, for example, 300.
<ZH>Case 3</>: You are trying to assign an additional characteristic to
a class and you are using a variant-creating class type.

Systemantwort

<ZH>Case 1</>: For generic article variants, maintenance of a class
assignment is not allowed at all besides the article master data
maintenance.
A variant is configured using only the generic article. A generic
article can only be assigned to a class in retail article maintenance
transactions and cannot be assigned to a class in classification
transactions. Therefore<(>,<)> in both scenarios<(>,<)> the system
prevents inconsistencies from being saved to the classification
database.
<ZH>Case 2</>: Because of the additional class assignment an additional
characteristic could become available for an existing generic article
with its variants. The system prevents this new assignment from being
saved because it would lead to inconsistencies in the retail article and
in the retail article variants. The system checks the complete parent
and child relationships to identify additional characteristics.
<ZH>Case 3</>: The new characteristic assigned to a class would also
become available for existing generic articles with its variants. The
system prevents this new assignment from being saved because it would
lead to inconsistencies. The system checks the class with its subclasses
to identify such constellations.

Wie behebe ich diesen Fehler?

<ZH>Case 1</>: Please exit the transaction without saving. Don't try to
assign a class to a retail generic article and/or variant using the
classification transaction; instead<(>,<)> use article maintenance.
<ZH>Case 2</>: Please assign only classes that would not add additional
characteristics to assigned objects (retail generic articles).
<ZH>Case 3</>: Please exit the transaction without saving. Additional
characteristics can only be added to classes that have no retail generic
articles assigned to them.
