indicates that it is a raw material.
The purpose of cost object hierarchies is to collect the
<DS:GLOS.cost_of_goods_manufactured>cost of goods manufactured</> that
cannot be attributed to any particular production order or run schedule
header. The link to the cost object hierarchy is made through the
finished product or semifinished product, the production of which is
controlled through the order type. The <DS:GLOS.target_costs>target
costs</> for the hierarchy are calculated in the
<DS:GLOS.standard_cost_estimate>standard cost estimates</> for these
materials.
Since raw materials are neither produced nor costed, they cannot be
assigned to a cost object hierarchy.
