For the principle of origin, gross overpayments (GOP) and their
repayments are taken into account separately in the garnishment. In the
real payroll, GOP repayments result in changed amounts in the wage types
for the statutory deductions (/PSx). These can then no longer be used.
Instead, the wage types from the fictitious payroll of the in-period are
used. In the fictitious payroll runs, the gross overpayment is not
activated and therefore the wage types are not influenced by GOP
repayments.
