Was verursacht dieses Problem?

ESH search connector &v1& involves authorization checks.
For these authorization checks the search runtime metadata could not be
calculated.

Systemantwort

Normally, the authorization metadata for the search connector will
automatically be calculated and indexed to the authorization search
views when the search connector is created.
In the current case this step has failed. The search connector status
has been set to "Authorization Update Failed".
Apart from the authorization update, all other search connector
activation steps have succeeded.
In case the search connector status is indexing-relevant the search
connector may still have to be scheduled for indexing after the
authorization update (status "Prepared" but not yet "Active"). In this
case the status is returned as "Prepared - Authorization Update Failed".

Wie behebe ich diesen Fehler?

To repair all affected search connectors manually you can run report
ESH_ADM_RECALC_AUTHS on the affected system.
Call the report with the default settings:
Logical system: Your system in format <SYS>CLNT<CLT>
Object Types: Leave empty (-> take all)
Reexecution Tasks:
- Update USER_AUTORITY
- Update Authorization Indices
- Reexecute where Status = "Failed" only
This will reexecute the failed authorization update tasks.

Vorgehensweise für Systemadministratoren

In case the report ESH_ADM_RECALC_AUTHS is not able to resolve the
issues there is a deeper-rooted issue.
In this case check the messages returned by the report.
Probable reason for the failure:
It can be that the authorization metadata cannot be read from HANA
because of data access privilege issues. In this case check the
privileges for the HANA database connection configured for ESH.
If you are not able to determine the reason for the issue on your own
contact SAP support with the logs returned by report
ESH_ADM_RECALC_AUTHS.
