Segment &v1& cannot be inserted for compatibility reasons since it
already occurs in a basic type. This basic type was combined with a
predecessor of the extension you are in the process of editing (&v2&).
If combined with the extension &v2&, the segment &v1& would occur
twice. This is not allowed.
