The settings in Customizing were changed so that the role now supports
distribution. This means that the system now distributes the total
demand over periods. However, because you have opened the corresponding
role in display mode or because the role is locked by another user, the
system cannot distribute the total demand and the role still displays
the demand as a total value.

If it is possible to lock the data or if you work in change mode next
time, the system automatically updates the distribution when you save.
