In order to get back to the most up-to-date status after restoring a
database backup (which, after all, represents an older status of the
data), you must import all changes since the time of the last backup
again (Roll Forward Recovery). As this is done using the log files, you
must have complete back ups of all log files that have accumulated
since the last database backup.

If there is a gap in the sequence of the log files, it is not possible
to restore the database to the most current status using the existing
data backup, if errors occur.

Wie behebe ich diesen Fehler?

If you are missing a log file, perform a complete data backup as soon
as possible (for example, using the DB13 planning calendar). You should
also analyze the error that prevented the archiving being carried out
correctly and eliminate the source of the error (for example, a faulty
tape drive).
