The system creates a new number range interval in the target subobject,
and copies it to table NRIV after the conversion.

Systemantwort

The system generates number range interval mapping values from existing
subobject mapping values. As a rule, the system does not change the
number range Customizing settings of a reference subobject (the
subobject that takes priority in the merge group). However, there are
some cases where the system has to create new intervals in the target
subobject in order to provide consistent mapping values:
If the number range exists in one of the source subobjects but does not
exist in the reference subobject (see example 1 below).
or
If the number range intervals of the source and reference subobjects are
differently distributed over fiscal years (see example 2 below).
In both cases, the system creates new number range intervals and saves
them in internal tables. The system only copies these new intervals to
table NRIV after the conversion.
