You want to implement a country-specific chart of accounts. This means
that the previously operative chart of accounts is defined as a
country-specific chart of accounts in one or more of the participating
company codes after the conversion.
From a technical perspective, the settings and transaction data of the
old operative chart of accounts are transferred to the respective fields
for the country-specific chart of accounts during the conversion. This
is required for several tables and fields.

When you merge two or more old accounts into one target account in the
converted operative chart of accounts, only the data from one of the
original accounts in the fields for the country-specific chart of
accounts can be stored after the conversion.
To be able to do this filling consistently across all affected
country-specific tables and fields, the system needs to convert table
SKB1 first. During this conversion, the country-specific field
SKB1-ALTKT is filled according to above logic. All further
country-specific tables then refer to the result of the conversion of
table SKB1-ALTKT and enter the corresponding values into their
country-specific fields.
The required table sequence is set and displayed in this message.
