If the indicator <DS:DE.CNV_KCV>KEYCHVIEWS</> is set in the table
CNVTABLES, the relevant data records in the table to be converted can
be changed by an SQL update statement (at least from a technical
perspective). From a performance perspective, this approach is better
than deleting the original data record and inserting the changed
records. However it can be used only if the target values in the
mapping are not converted themselves (that is, value A gets converted
to B and B to C).
<ZH>Caution:</> If the mapping includes entries of the type described
above, incorrect data records may occur if the KEYCHVIEWS indicator is
set anyway.
