procurement alternative of the process category 'Production'.

You must describe the BOM and the routing in full. If neither BOM nor
routing exist, create them. If this is not possible, you can define a
production version in the material master, thus creating a procurement
alternative. The actual settings for the BOM and routing can then be
assigned to the production version at a later time.
