The logical system is used for the ALE (Application Link Enabling)
component. The logical system is the unique name for the client
throughout the company in this database.
When maintaining the logical system, be aware of the following:
The logical system must be unique throughout the company. It must not be
used by another system in the ALE group of systems.
In the productive system, the logical system may not be changed once an
inital value has been entered.
When a non-initial logical system is changed, it may occur that
documents from its own system cannot be found. When the logical system
of the document reference does not match its own system, the system
assumes that the document is in another system.
