contain any messages if:
the program has not issued any messages in the main log or in its
sublogs.
the program has only issued messages in the sublogs and these have not
been incorporated into the main log. The messages of the sublogs are
incorporated into the main log when the program has ended, meaning that
all sublogs have been closed.
