  1. Enter the transaction code /SCWM/V_TCAT into the command field.

  4. Enter a description for the new stock type and select “Save”. 
  5. Select “Change” from the menu bar to make changes to an existing stock type. 
  6. Make any necessary changes and select “Save” when finished. 
  7. Select “Display” from the menu bar to view an existing stock type. 
  8. Select “Delete” from the menu bar to delete an existing stock type. 
  9. Select “Yes” when prompted to confirm deletion of the stock type. 
  10. Select “Back” from the menu bar when finished with all changes or deletions. 
  
  Other Recommendations: 
  It is important to note that once a stock type has been created, it cannot be deleted or changed without first deleting all materials associated with that stock type in the warehouse management system (WMS).
