  Overview:
  The SAP transaction code /ACCGO/GDC is used to create and maintain global derived characteristics (GDCs) in the SAP system. GDCs are used to store and manage data that is derived from other characteristics. This data can then be used for reporting and analysis purposes. 
  
  Functionality: 
  The /ACCGO/GDC transaction code allows users to create, edit, and delete GDCs. It also allows users to assign values to the GDCs, as well as view existing GDCs and their associated values. Additionally, users can use this transaction code to define the rules for how the GDCs are calculated. 
  
  Step-by-step How to Use: 
  1. Enter the /ACCGO/GDC transaction code into the command field of the SAP system. 
  2. Select the “Create” option from the menu bar. 
  3. Enter a name for the GDC and select a data type for it. 
  4. Enter a description of the GDC and select a value type for it. 
  5. Select the “Save” option from the menu bar to save your changes. 
  6. Select the “Assign Values” option from the menu bar to assign values to your GDCs. 
  7. Select the “Define Rules” option from the menu bar to define how your GDCs are calculated. 
  8. Select the “Save” option from the menu bar to save your changes. 
  9. Select the “Display” option from the menu bar to view existing GDCs and their associated values.
