¿Qué causa este problema?

The characteristic '&v1&' is used in the active data archiving process '
&v2&' as the time slice characteristic. In this case the data type of
the characteristic may not be changed.

If you are sure that the planned change of type will not cause problems
in a transport to a downstream productive system, you can delete the
relevant data archiving process, then perform the change of type, and
finally recreate the data archiving process.
