Characteristic &V1& is used in the compounding of characteristic &V2&.
Characteristic &V3& has been inserted by characteristic &V1&. In this
grouping, characteristics &V2& must also be coupled to characteristic
&V3&, which is, however, not the case.

Characteristic &V1& can not be activated.
