defined control symbols.

You have the following options for defining control symbols:
<ZH>Transfer of symbols from the document template:</>
Select the required symbols of the type <ZK>Specification</> (01) or
<ZK>Parameter</> (02) in the document template.
On the <LS>Blank Compression</> tab page, choose @J6@ with the quick
info text <LS>Insert Symbol from Template</>.
The selected symbols are displayed in the group box <LS>Templ. Symbols
</>.
Transfer the required symbols from the <LS>Templ. Symbols</> group box
to the <LS>Control Symbols</> group box by double-clicking (or by
choosing @0E@ with the quick info text <LS>Move to Right</>).

<ZH>Transfer of symbols from the symbol tree:</>
Select a symbol of the type <ZK>Specification</> (01) or <ZK>Parameter
</> (02) in the symbol tree.
Choose the <LS>Blank Compression</> tab page and choose @17@ with the
quick info text <LS>Insert Symbol from Tree</>.
The symbol from the symbol tree is transferred to the <LS>Control
Symbols</> group box.
