¿Qué causa este problema?

The profit center is a required field according to the field selection
of the appropriation request.

You have to make the required entry for the profit center.

¿Cómo arreglar este error?

Do one of the following:
Enter a requesting profit center.
Enter the requesting cost center.
The profit center and the business area are automatically adopted from
the cost center.
If the profit center or business area are required fields, then you can
only choose cost centers in which this data has been entered.
Change the control for the responsible profit center field so that it
is not a required field.
Note:
When the business area is adopted from the cost center, it does not
necessarily make sense to make both fields required entry fields.
