If a conversion factor is used for a gas procedure, then the unit of
measurement before conversion with the volume correction factor (which
is defined in the volume correction factor procedure) must match the
unit of measurement before conversion with the calorific value (which
is defined in the calorific value procedure).
The gas procedure usually checks to make sure this requirement is met.
