X4239
- Component with material &1 plant &2 is deleted from the order ?The SAP error message X4239 indicates that a component with a specific material number and plant has been deleted from the order. This typically occurs in the context of production orders, where components are associated with the order for manufacturing purposes.
Cause:
- Deletion of Component: The most common cause is that the component (material) has been deleted from the bill of materials (BOM) or the production order itself.
- Changes in BOM: If there have been changes to the BOM that removed the component, this error can occur.
- Material Status: The material may have been set to a status that prevents it from being used in production (e.g., blocked or inactive).
- Plant-Specific Issues: The component may not be available in the specified plant, or it may have been deleted from the plant-specific data.
Solution:
- Check BOM: Verify the BOM for the production order to ensure that the component is still listed. If it has been deleted, you may need to recreate it or adjust the BOM.
- Review Production Order: Check the production order to see if the component was manually removed or if there were any changes made that affected its inclusion.
- Material Master Data: Ensure that the material is active and available in the specified plant. Check the material master data for any status changes.
- Recreate Component: If the component was deleted and is still needed, you may need to recreate it in the BOM or production order.
- Consult with Team: If you are unsure about the changes made, consult with your production planning or engineering team to understand why the component was removed.
