    You have defined characteristic value &V1& for the layout in the column
    for characteristic &V2&. Alternatively, you have entered characteristic
    value &V1& in the column for characteristic &V2&.
    The planning hierarchy does not, however, contain this characteristic
    value.
    The planning hierarchy represents the maximum frame in which you can
    operate in a planning step.
    All characteristics and characteristic combinations for which planning
    data is to be entered in the system, must be defined in a planning
    hierarchy.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Check the planning hierarchy for characteristic value &V1&, change the
    entry in the characteristic screen or change your
