- Sales price already defined in conditions ?The SAP error message WV183, which states "Sales price already defined in conditions," typically occurs in the context of pricing in sales documents, such as sales orders or quotations. This error indicates that there is an attempt to enter a sales price for a material or service that has already been defined in the pricing conditions.
Cause:
- Duplicate Pricing Conditions: The sales price for the item has already been set in the pricing conditions, and the system does not allow for a second entry of the same price.
- Condition Records: There may be existing condition records in the pricing procedure that automatically determine the sales price based on certain criteria (like customer, material, etc.).
- Manual Entry Conflict: If a user tries to manually enter a sales price that conflicts with the existing condition records, this error will be triggered.
Solution:
Check Existing Condition Records:
- Go to the condition records for the relevant pricing condition type (e.g., PR00 for sales price) and verify if there are existing records for the customer and material combination.
- Use transaction codes like
VK13
(Display Condition) to view the existing condition records.Adjust Pricing Procedure:
- If the pricing procedure is set up to automatically determine prices, ensure that the conditions are correctly configured and that there are no conflicts.
- You may need to adjust the pricing procedure or the condition records to allow for the desired pricing.
Remove Manual Price Entry:
- If the price is already defined in the conditions, you should not manually enter a price in the sales document. Instead, let the system determine the price based on the existing conditions.
Consult with Pricing Specialist:
- If you are unsure about the pricing setup or how to resolve the issue, consult with a pricing specialist or SAP consultant who can provide insights into the configuration and help resolve the conflict.
