- Portal role transferred without header ?SAP Error Message: WP3ROLES004 - Portal role transferred without header
Cause: This error typically occurs during the transport or import of SAP Enterprise Portal roles when the role data is incomplete or corrupted. Specifically, the "header" information of the portal role (which contains metadata such as role name, description, and other key attributes) is missing or not properly transferred. This can happen due to: Incomplete or failed export of the portal role from the source system. Transport request corruption or missing objects. Manual changes or inconsistencies in the role XML files. Version incompatibilities between source and target systems. Issues with the transport tool or process (e.g., CTS+ for portal roles).
Solution: Verify the Export: Re-export the portal role from the source system ensuring the export completes successfully. Use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator or Portal Content Studio to export the role again. Check Transport Request: Confirm that the transport request contains all necessary files, including the header XML. If files are missing, recreate the transport request. Use
