What causes this issue?

The system can only check a listing if you have entered the smallest
available material unit; generic or structured materials cannot be
checked because listings within them can vary.
An enhancement of this function in the area of analyses is planned for
a later release.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
