What causes this issue?

The current workflow was started from a remote system. An error
occurred in this workflow. You then wanted to change the status of the
proxy work item in the remote system to "error" as well using the
function "Transmit error to proxy work item". This failed. The causes
are either in the remote system or in the communication (RFC).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

find an error there.
