What causes this issue?

By clicking on a reference item, you have tried to view the part of the
workflow that is running or ran in a remote SAP system.
The local system therefore tries to set up a link to the remote system.
The attempt to set up this communications link was unsuccessful.

System Response

The system cannot display the part of the workflow that runs in the
remote system.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
