What causes this issue?
You have not maintained the shipping type.
However, this is an important classification indicator for the shipment.
Furthermore, it effects automatic leg determination, because the
specified shipping type will be transferred to the leg determined.
If it is not maintained, then legs might not be determined!The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
