- A maximum of 99 condition supplements are permitted in pricing procedure. ?The SAP error message VT819 indicates that you have exceeded the maximum limit of 99 condition supplements in the pricing procedure. This error typically occurs during the pricing determination process in sales and distribution (SD) or materials management (MM) when the system tries to apply more condition supplements than allowed.
Cause:
- Excessive Condition Supplements: The pricing procedure you are using has more than 99 condition supplements defined. Condition supplements are additional conditions that can be applied to a base condition, and they are used to modify pricing based on specific criteria.
- Configuration Issues: The pricing procedure may be incorrectly configured, leading to an excessive number of condition supplements being applied.
Solution:
Review Pricing Procedure: Check the pricing procedure assigned to the sales document or purchase order. You can do this by navigating to the relevant configuration in SPRO:
- Path: SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Pricing > Pricing Control > Define Pricing Procedures.
- Review the condition types and their supplements to ensure that you are not exceeding the limit.
Optimize Condition Supplements: If you find that you have too many condition supplements, consider consolidating or removing unnecessary ones. Evaluate whether all the supplements are needed or if some can be combined.
Adjust Condition Types: If certain condition types are not essential, you can adjust the pricing procedure to limit the number of condition supplements being applied.
Custom Development: If your business requirements necessitate more than 99 condition supplements, you may need to consider custom development. However, this is generally not recommended due to the complexity it introduces.
Testing: After making changes, ensure to test the pricing procedure thoroughly to confirm that the error no longer occurs and that pricing is calculated correctly.
