the system does not take the consumption intervals into account.
The consumption intervals are only used for the cumulative check.
The intervals defined are ignored during product allocation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Cause:
This error occurs in SAP when the system expects consumption intervals to be defined for a particular process (usually in the context of repetitive manufacturing or process orders), but no consumption intervals have been maintained or activated. Consumption intervals define the time periods during which components are consumed in production orders or process orders.
In other words, the system tries to determine when components should be withdrawn or consumed, but since no consumption intervals are set up, it cannot proceed and throws this error.
