Cause: This error occurs when the system tries to access or reference an address for a contact person that does not exist in the database. Typically, this happens in the context of Business Partner (BP) or Customer/Vendor master data management, where a contact person is linked to an address record. If the address number or contact person number is incorrect, missing, or has been deleted, the system cannot find the corresponding address and throws this error. When does it occur? During creation or change of a contact person in the Business Partner or Customer master. When assigning or referencing an address to a contact person. When data inconsistencies exist between contact person and address tables. During data migration or master data upload if address/contact person data is incomplete or incorrect.
