Message text: Are itinerary and route compatible?
You should keep the following in mind when you maintain itineraries:
An itinerary is part of the geography of a route, meaning that it is
important to maintain such itineraries for various route schedules
along the <ZH>same</> route in the <ZH>same</> way. Otherwise, logical
inconsistencies could result, for instance, the times for the same
points of the route could be different in each route schedule.
The route's transit time should be a little longer than the specific
transit time to the <ZH>last</> ship-to party (or ship-to
party/unloading point) in the itinerary. Otherwise, the scheduling
process during delivery creation from preceding documents can result in
dates that are too far in the future.
Maintenance is possible after confirmation.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
